Keshara Danielle Sterling

Keshara Danielle Sterling was born April 11, 2002, in Brookhaven, Mississippi, to Victor and Victoria Pittman Sterling. She was the youngest of the three children born to this union. Keshara was very fun to hang out with and those who knew her called her “Lit Bit.” She departed from this life on March 17, 2026.

Keshara accepted Christ at an early age. She attended Grace Community Church under the leadership of her uncle, Reverend Phillip Sterling as her pastor. She later attended New Beginning Church under the leadership of Reverend Victor Mackabee. Keshara attended and graduated from Brookhaven High School, in the Class of 2020. After graduating, she joined the U.S. Army for a brief term and later attended KOHO Healthcare School where she received her CNA Certification in 2024. She worked at Silver Cross Nursing Home in Brookhaven, Mississippi.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, L.D. Pittman, Catherine and Victor Sterling Jr.; great grandparents, Anna Lee and Victor Sterling, and Bernice and Garfield Pittman.

Keshara leaves to Cherish her loving memories to her parents, Victoria and Victor Sterling III, both of Brookhaven, Mississippi; one sister, Keyara Sterling of Brookhaven, Mississippi; one brother, Je’Dairius Sterling of Brookhaven, Mississippi; one grandmother, Shirley Kitchen of McComb, Mississippi; two uncles, Christopher (Sherita) Sterling, of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, and Lamont (Shan) Sterling, of Bogalusa, Louisiana; five aunts, Anna (Mark) Hinton of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Shalanda Pittman of Monticello, Mississippi, Breanna Pittman, Alexis Pittman both of McComb, Mississippi and Erica Robinson Jones of Jackson, Mississippi; one bonus sister, Jaionna Smith, of Brookhaven, Mississippi; a special aunt and uncle Virginia and Jerry Earl, Sr. Both of Brookhaven, Mississippi; one God Brother Traivell Williams of Brookhaven, Mississippi; three nieces, Naomi Sterling, Nevaeh Sterling, Ja’Nyla Pittman, all of Brookhaven, Mississippi; two nephews, Zion Pittman and Ashton Pittman, both of Brookhaven Mississippi; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
