Mr. Gary Eallit Lewis

Gary Lewis, son of the late, Mrs. Essie Mae Blakely-Lewis and the late James Lenoir, was born on March 20, 1975. Gary graduated from Brookhaven High School in 1994 and went on to attend Hinds Community College. Gary was an amazing father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Gary will be remembered for his warm heart, bright smile, his love of loud music and his passion for the New Orleans Saints. He was truly one of a kind and will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved him. Prior to Gary’s passing, he was employed at Aptiv in Brookhaven, MS where he worked for 10 years. Gary married Tracy Lewis and remained married until his death.

 On June 16, 2026, Gary was born into eternity, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Gary was preceded in death by his sister Charlotte Lewis, cousin Jeremy Bullock and many aunties and uncles. He leaves to cherish his loving memory his sons Jaqwan Lewis and Ajani Thompson; daughter Jasmine Thompson; sisters Onnie Sanders, Jill Washington, Mary Lewis and Shalaria Lenoir; his brothers Charlie Lewis (Fonda), David Brown and James Lenoir and Aunt Lillie Burton, all of Brookhaven, MS; and a large and loving family circle of cousins along with a host of friends who became like family such as Sandy Drummond.
